A method for enclosing a foamable composition in a flexible bag includes forming a tube from one or two sheets of flexible film, introducing the foamable composition into the tube, and closing the tube to form a bag in which the foamable composition is enclosed. One or two longitudinal seals are formed on the bag (one seal if one film is used and two seals if two films are used) by applying a coating of a bonding material, e.g., an adhesive or cohesive material, to the longitudinal edges of the film(s) and squeezing the bonding material together as the tube is being formed and filled with a foamable composition.
