The invention concerns a method for estimating the correlation matrix of signals with unknown characteristics in a network of N sensors comprising the following steps: determining the correlation matrix Rs signals Su with known characteristics; estimating the correlation matrix Rx of the sensing signals Sx; forming a matrix A equal to A = Rs?-1/2¿ Rx Rs?-1/2¿, and breaking down into characteristic elements; constructing a matrix B from characteristic elements of matrix A; determining the estimated matrix Rb correlating the interfering signals Sb from the estimated matrix Rs and the matrix B, such that Rb = Rs?1/2¿ B Rs?1/2¿. The invention is useful for processing antennae.
Procédé pour estimer la matrice de corrélation de signaux de caractéristiques inconnues dans un réseau de N capteurs comportant les étapes suivantes: déterminer la matrice Rs de corrélation des signaux Su de caractéristiques connues, estimer la matrice de corrélation Rx des signaux Sx capteurs, former une matrice A égale à A = Rs-1/2 Rx Rs-1/2 et la décomposer en éléments propres, construire une matrice B à partir des éléments propres de la matrice A, déterminer la matrice estimée Rb de corrélation des signaux interférents Sb à partir de la matrice estimée Rs et de la matrice B, telle que Rb = Rs1/2 B Rs1/2.
