A method for evaluating an anti-contamination level on a surface of optical recording medium is disclosed. The method includes forming an artificial fingerprint on the surface by contacting a stamp having an artificial material adhered thereto on an optical recording medium, and measuring a symbol error rate (SER) of the formed artificial fingerprint, to determine a sensitivity of the fingerprint and determining whether the optical recording medium is of good quality or bad quality depending upon the measured SER.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'évaluation du niveau anti-contamination d'une surface d'un support d'enregistrement optique. Le procédé consiste à former une empreinte digitale artificielle sur la surface par mise en contact d'un timbre comprenant un matériau artificiel adhéré sur celui-ci sur un support d'enregistrement optique, et à mesurer un taux d'erreur de symbole (SER) de l'empreinte digitale artificielle formée pour déterminer la sensibilité de l'empreinte digitale, et déterminer si le support d'enregistrement optique est de bonne qualité ou de mauvaise qualité en fonction du SER mesuré.
