A method for excitation and detection of magnetic resonance elements (10) in an interrogation zone (11), whereby a magnetic excitation signal is generated by at least one excitation means (12) and is supplied to the resonance element, so as to force the resonance element (10) into mechanical self-oscillation, and whereby a magnetical signal caused by the self-oscillation is detected. The excitation signal is generated by at least two excitation means (12) being located at a distance from each other, whereby a symmetry plane (14) for the excitation signal is obtained between the excitation means (12). The magnetic signal caused by the self-oscillation is symmetrically recorded at both sides of the symmetry plane (14), and the resonance elements are placed between an excitation means (12) and the symmetry plane (14), the recorded signal thereby containing the magnetic signal caused by the self-oscillation, but lacking the excitation signal.

Procédé d'excitation et de détection d'éléments de résonance magnétique (10) dans une zone d'interrogation (11), qui consiste à produire un signal d'excitation magnétique, à l'aide d'au moins un moyen d'excitation (12), à envoyer ce signal à l'élément de résonance magnétique de sorte que celui-ci soit mis en auto-oscillation magnétique, et à détecter le signal magnétique créé par l'auto-oscillation. Le signal d'excitation est produit par au moins deux moyen d'excitation (12) situés à une certaine distance l'un de l'autre, un plan de symétrie (14) pour le signal d'excitation étant ainsi obtenu entre les moyens d'excitation (12). Le signal magnétique produit par l'auto-oscillation est enregistré de manière symétrique de chaque côté du plan de symétrie (14), et les éléments de résonance sont placés entre ce dernier (14) et un moyen d'excitation (12), le signal enregistré contenant ainsi le signal magnétique produit par l'auto-oscillation, sans contenir toutefois le signal d'excitation.
