The invention concerns a method for exploring and displaying tissues of human or animal origin which consists in: positioning an ultrasound probe (1) carried by a head steered by means of a three-dimensional positioning system (2), in particular computer-controlled, perpendicular to the tissue structure; controlling the probe such that it generates convergent high frequency ultrasound wave beams (of the order of *= 50 MHz), said waves being focused at a predetermined zone of the tissues, over a penetration distance ranging between 20 and 30 mm; scanning the tissue structure by the computer-controlled (3) positioning system (2), by carrying out parallel acquisition, by the computer (3) of signals reflected by the tissue structure; carrying out various signal processing operations on the data derived from scanning, to improve the reproduction of data and facilitate interpretation thereof by the practitioner.
Procédé d'exploration et de visualisation de tissus d'origine humaine ou animale consistant à: positionner une sonde ultrasonore (1) portée par une tête pilotée par l'intermédiaire d'un système (2) de positionnement dans les trois dimensions, notamment commandé par un ordinateur (3) au droit de ladite structure de tissus, commander la sonde de manière à ce qu'elle génère des faisceaux d'ondes convergentes ultrasonores de haute fréquence (de l'ordre de *= à 50 MHz), ces ondes étant focalisées au niveau d'une zone donnée de structure de tissus, selon une distance de pénétration comprise entre 20 et 30 mm, effectuer un balayage de la structure de tissus par le système de positionnement (2) piloté par l'ordinateur (3), en effectuant parallèlement une acquisition, par l'ordinateur (3), des signaux réfléchis par la structure de tissus, effectuer divers traitements de signal sur les données issues du balayage, pour améliorer la restitution des informations et faciliter l'interprétation par le praticien.
