Method and apparatus are disclosed to simultaneously feed yarns having different properties such as, but not limited to, color, dyeability, and texture to textile manufacturing equipment such as, but not limited to, tufting machines, looms, etc. The apparatus is able to feed up to 6 or more different yarns in any combination or all simultaneously and is able to delete and reintroduce inddividual yarns as needed for the textile article being produced.
Procédé et appareil permettant l'amenée simultanée de fils ayant des caractéristiques différentes concernant, entre autres, la couleur, l'aptitude à la teinture ou la texture, dans des machines textiles telles que les machines au tufting, les métiers à tisser, etc. L'appareil décrit peut amener jusqu'à 6 fils différents, voire plus, selon toutes les combinaisons possibles ou tous simultanément. De plus, il peut supprimer puis réintroduire chacun des fils en fonction de l'article à confectionner.
