ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved method for the filling of porous tube electrodes for electric accumulator batteries is disclosed. A paste of the active material and a liquid (e.g., water) is formed and a small amount of surplus liquid is added. The tubes are filled with resulting paste by centrifugation with the surplus liquid being removed through the tubes during filling.
