The invention relates to a method for finishing ball cages (1) meant for homocinetic joints. The ball cages are provided with ball ring-shaped inner and outer bearing surfaces (3, 2) and ball recesses (4) for accommodating the balls which transmit torque. In order to be able to finish such ball cages (1) quickly, economically and as fully automatic as possible, the invention provides that both the inner and outer ring-shaped bearing surfaces (3, 2) as well as the locating surfaces (5) of the ball recesses (4) for each ball, said locating surfaces being located opposite one another in an axial direction, are finished by means of a turning machining.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour la finition de cages à billes (1) destinées à des joints homocinétiques, lesquelles comportent des surfaces d'appui (3, 2) intérieures et extérieures en forme de bague à billes et des évidements (4) destinés à loger des billes de transmission de couple. Dans le but de pouvoir réaliser la finition de ces cages à billes (1) de manière rapide, économique et aussi automatique que possible, la finition tant des surfaces d'appui (3, 2) intérieures et extérieures en forme de cage à billes que des surfaces de contact (5) des évidements (4) des billes, opposées en sens axial, s'effectue par usinage sur tour.
