ABSTRACT A laminated panel is disclosed, which can be joined is a very simple yet efficient manner to a similar adjacent panel. The panel comprises a substrate having a pair of opposite edges and an upper surface covered by a laminate overlay which is wider than the upper surface and is positioned so as to have one edge adjacent one of the opposite edges of the substrate and another edge extending outwards the substrate, away from the other opposite edge thereof. The laminate overlay is glued onto the upper surface of the substrate, except on a short distance along both opposite edges thereof, thereby defining two unglued flaps that can be folded up to allow fixation of the substrate to a supporting structure. After the flaps of two adjacent panels are folded down, they partially overlap and hide the joint. Then, they can be cut together before being glued.
