The invention relates to a magnetic separation device and is used for separating paramagnetic substances from diamagnetic substances, the paramagnetic substances according to the paramagnetic susceptibility thereof and the diamagnetic substances according to the diamagnetic susceptibility thereof. Said invention can be used for electronics, metallurgy and chemistry, for separating biological objects and for removing heavy metals and organic impurities from water, etc. The inventive device is based on a magnetic system of an open domain structure type and is embodied in the form of two substantially rectangular constant magnets (1, 2) which are mated by the side faces thereof, whose magnetic field polarities are oppositely directed and the magnetic anisotropy is greater than the magnetic induction of the materials thereof. Said magnets (1, 2) are mounted on a common base (4) comprising a plate which is made of a non-retentive material and mates with the lower faces of the magnets, thin plates (5, 6) which are made of a non-retentive material, are placed on the top faces of the magnets and forms a gap arranged above the top edges (8, 9) of the magnets (1, 2) mated faces. A nonmagnetic substrate (10) for separated material (11) is located above the gap (7).

La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif de séparation magnétique, et est destiné à séparer des substances paramagnétiques de substances diamagnétiques, des substances paramagnétiques en fonction de leur susceptibilité paramagnétique, des substances diamagnétiques en fonction de leur susceptibilité diamagnétique. L'invention peut être utilisée dans les domaines de l'électronique, de la métallurgie et de la chimie, pour séparer des objets biologiques, pour éliminer les métaux lourds et les contaminants organiques contenus dans l'eau, etc. Le dispositif selon l'invention se compose d'un système magnétique à structure de domaine ouvert se présentant sous la forme de deux aimants permanents (1, 2) essentiellement rectangulaires, qui sont couplés par leurs faces latérales, et qui présentent un champ magnétique de polarité opposée et une anisotropie magnétique supérieure à l'induction magnétique de la matière constituant les aimants. Lesdits aimants (1, 2) sont montés sur une même base (4), laquelle contient une plaque qui est constituée d'un matériau magnétique doux et est couplée aux faces inférieures des aimants. Des plaques minces (5, 6) constituées d'un matériau magnétique doux sont disposées sur les faces supérieures desdits aimants, et forment un espace au-dessus des bords supérieurs (8, 9) des faces couplées des aimants (1, 2). Un substrat non magnétique destiné à la matière séparée (11) est disposé par-dessus l'espace (7).
