The invention relates to a method for forming an initial profile (10, 10x, 15, 16) or a tool of the kind that is provided with a profile chamber, by means of inner high pressure in such a way that an end profile is formed, whereby said pressure is generated in the sealed profile chamber by an active means that can flow. Said method is especially used for forming until the end profile rests on the wall of the forming chamber. Before forming by means of inner high pressure, the initial profile is formed at a distance to the free ends thereof and crosswise in relation to the longitudinal axis thereof to reach a cross-section with advantageous bending properties. The middle line of the component is formed and the cross-section thereof is deformed by means of inner high pressure during bending.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de déformer un profilé de départ, ou une pièce analogue présentant un espace intérieur, le profilé final étant obtenu au moyen d'une haute pression intérieure produite par un milieu fluidique dans ledit espace intérieur rendu étanche. Ce procédé sert en particulier à effectuer une déformation du profilé jusqu'à ce que le profilé final repose contre la paroi d'un espace de formage. Selon ledit procédé, avant la déformation par haute pression intérieure, le profilé de départ subit, à une certaine distance de son extrémité libre et transversalement par rapport à son axe longitudinal, une transformation lui donnant une section avec des caractéristiques de pliage favorables. Pendant le processus de pliage, la ligne médiane du composant est déformée et sa section est également déformée par la haute pression intérieure.
