A method of imaging a substrate is disclosed, the method consisting of applying a first layer to the substrate to form a "print pattern" and a second step of presenting an "addressed design" to the substrate both within and outside the area of the print pattern. In the method of the invention, within the print pattern the addressed design is formed into a "durable image material" forming at least a part of the design layer and outside the print pattern, the addressed design does not form a durable image material.

Procédé de formation d'image sur un substrat, ce procédé consistant à appliquer une première couche sur le substrat pour former un "motif d'impression" et consistant dans une deuxième étape à présenter sur le substrat un "motif adressé" à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur de la zone du "motif d'impression ". Dans le procédé de cette invention le "motif adressé" est formé dans le "motif d'impression" sous forme d'une "matière d'image durable" formant au moins une partie du "motif adressé" et est situé à l'extérieur du "motif d'impression", le "motif adressé" ne formant pas une matière d'image durable.
