A method for creating a nonwoven laminate fabric with three laminated layers, with top and bottom layers of thin veneer and a center layer of pulp, resulting in a laminate fabric with particular utility as a flushable wipe. Figure 1 illustrates a hydroentangled nonwoven layer (20) provided on a moving support (22). A second nonwoven layer (24) is overlaid on top of first layer (20) and a third nonwoven layer (26) overlaid on top of second layer (24). Support (22) with the three layers thereon is then conveyed under manifold (28). For the utility in making flushable wipes, unentangled regions (52) between lines of entanglement (50) result in a laminate fabric that has a sufficient wet strength and can disentangle under normal shear stresses present in a sewer system so as to be flushable.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un textile stratifié non tissé, qui consiste à déposer une première couche non tissée sur un support mobile, à déposer une seconde couche non tissée sur la première couche et à acheminer les couches sous un collecteur. Ce dernier comporte plusieurs groupes de jets séparés les uns des autres par une distance. L'eau est dirigée des groupes de jets sur les couches sous-jacentes afin de créer un textile stratifié. Du fait que les groupes de jets sont séparés les uns des autres, le textile stratifié présente un <= enchevêtrement de modèles >=. La formation de faisceaux s'effectue le long de lignes sensiblement linéaires, la formation étant moins dense dans des zones situées entre les zones de formation de faisceaux linéaires. On obtient ainsi un textile doté de zones présentant un enchevêtrement relativement important et d'autres zones présentant un enchevêtrement beaucoup plus faible. Lorsque trois couches sont stratifiées, les couches inférieure et supérieur étant en placage et la couche centrale en pâte, le présent procédé permet d'obtenir un textile stratifié doté d'une utilité particulière comme produit de nettoyage jetable dans les toilettes.
