A frequency plan revision proposal (106) is evaluated to determine (110) whether it is compatible with the current cell configuration by insuring that sufficient frequencies (f) having appropriate operating modes are available for assignment to meet the traffic and control channel requirements and availability of the included cell transceivers (26). A record (142) is kept of previously approved proposals resulting in a revision to the frequency plan assignment. A determination (130) is then made as to whether the current proposal if implemented would have an adverse effect on the network in view of the previously approved proposals maintained by the record. An adverse effect is found when: a sub-frequency group (14)/frequency dropped and/or added by the proposal at issue matches or is adjacent to a sub-frequency group/frequency dropped and/or added in the record of the previously approved proposals; and the distance (d) between the cell (10) of the proposal at issue and the cell of the previously approved proposal in the record are within a certain threshold distance of each other.
On examine une proposition de révision du plan de fréquences (106) pour déterminer (110) si elle est compatible avec la configuration actuelle de cellule en vérifiant que suffisamment de fréquences (f) aux modes d'exploitation appropriés sont disponibles à l'affectation afin de répondre au trafic et aux exigences du canal de commande, et que les émetteurs cellule (26) inclus sont disponibles. On garde trace (142) des propositions approuvées précédemment et aboutissant à une révision du plan de fréquences. On détermine (130) si la proposition actuelle, une fois mise en oeuvre, aurait un effet indésirable sur le réseau au vu des propositions précédemment approuvées et consignées. Il y a effet indésirable quand un groupe de sous-fréquence (14)/ de fréquence décalée et/ou ajoutée par la proposition est adapté ou est adjacent à un groupe de sous-fréquence/de fréquence décalée et/ou ajoutée dans l'enregistrement des propositions précédemment approuvées, mais également quand la distance (d) entre la cellule (10) de la proposition actuelle et celle de la proposition précédemment approuvée se trouvent dans les limites d'une certaine distance l'une par rapport à l'autre.
