The present application discloses a method for hot-dip galvanizing and galvannealing which employs a bath of zinc and aluminum. Strips are immersed in the bath to produce substantially dross-free galvannealed and galvanized strips. The bath can have substantially the same effective aluminum concentration during galvannealing as during galvanizing, and the temperature set-point of the bath is at a temperature of about 440 °C to about 450 °C. The snout temperature of the strip is controlled between 470 °C and 538 °C, depending on the composition of the steel.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de galvanisation et de recuit après galvanisation par immersion à chaud dans un bain de zinc et d'aluminium. On plonge des bandes dans le bain pour obtenir des bandes galvanisées et recuites après galvanisation sans écume. Le bain peut contenir sensiblement la même concentration effective d'aluminium lors du recuit après galvanisation que lors de la galvanisation et la valeur de réglage de la température du bain est comprise entre 440 DEG C et 450 DEG C environ. On régule la température de coulée de la bande de sorte qu'elle se situe entre 470 DEG C et 538 DEG C, selon la composition de l'acier.
