The ditag analysis is useful for gene discovery and genome mapping.

L'invention concerne un oligonucléotide isolé comprenant au moins une double étiquette composée deux étiquettes jointes d'une première séquence et d'une deuxième séquence, la première étiquette contenant la séquence de terminaison 5' et la deuxième étiquette la séquence de terminaison 3' d'une molécule d'acide nucléique ou d'un fragment de celle-ci.
