A method of generating a microbial deactivation fluid to circulate through an apparatus that has a decontamination chamber for holding medical instruments and devices, comprising the steps of: (a) providing a first compartment and a second compartment in the circulation system; (b) providing a chemical reagent in the first compartment and a builder composition in the second compartment; (c) causing a fluid to flow through the second compartment to mix with the builder composition to create an alkaline fluid; (d) when the alkaline fluid has reached a predetermined pH level, causing the alkaline fluid to flow through the first compartment to mix with the chemical reagent to dissolve the chemical reagent to generate a microbial deactivation fluid; and (e) continuing steps (c) and (d) to continue the generation of the microbial deactivation fluid.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire un fluide de stérilisation microbienne et de faire circuler celui-ci à travers un appareil comprenant une chambre de décontamination destinée à contenir des instrument et des dispositifs médicaux. Le procédé consiste: (a) à fournir un premier compartiment et un second compartiment dans le système de circulation; (b) à introduire un réactif chimique dans le premier compartiment et une composition adjuvante dans le second compartiment; (c) à faire circuler un fluide à travers le second compartiment afin de le mélanger à la composition adjuvante et créer un fluide alcalin; (d), lorsque le fluide alcalin atteint un niveau de pH prédéterminé, à faire circuler celui-ci à travers le premier compartiment afin de le mélanger au réactif chimique et dissoudre le réactif chimique pour produire un fluide de stérilisation microbienne; et (e) à répéter les étapes (c) et (d) afin de continuer à recycler le fluide de stérilisation microbienne.
