A method of generating a temperature-dependent signal for the correction of temperature effects on a fibre optic gyroscope which comprises at least one 3x3 coupler, a semiconductor light source and a monitor diode for recording the radiation output of the semiconductor light source, wherein the output signal of the monitor diode (D3, D4) is fed to a controller (R), the controller (R) controls the injection current of the semiconductor light source (L) in such a way that the output signal of the monitor diode (D3, D4) is constant, and a signal [I(T)] which is proportional to the injection current is formed for the correction of temperature effects.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un signal dépendant de la température pour la correction d'influence de la température sur un gyroscope à fibre optique qui comporte au moins un coupleur 3x3, une source lumineuse à semi-conducteur et une diode de contrôle servant à la détection de la puissance de rayonnement de la source lumineuse à semi-conducteur. Le signal de sortie de la diode de contrôle (D3, D4) est conduit à un régulateur (R) qui commande le courant d'injection de la source lumineuse à semi-conducteur (L) de telle sorte que le signal de sortie de la diode de contrôle (D3, D4) soit constant, un signal [I(T)] proportionnel au courant d'injection étant formé pour la correction des influences de la température.
