A method for functionalizing chlorinated (co)polymers, wherein said chlorinated (co)polymer is reacted at a temperature of between 50 and 250°C with an organometallic derivative of formula (I), wherein M is Sn, Pb, Sb, or Bi; A is NR3 wherein R3 is H or -R1 B radical or A is O; if M is Sn or Pb, then m is 4 and n is 1, 2 or 3; if M is Sb or Bi, then m is 5 and n is 1, 2, 3 or 4; R is C1-C8 alk, C3-C12 cycloalk, C6-C14 aryl, C7-C14 aralk, C4-C8 cycloalkalk; R1 is C1-C20 alk, C7-C14 aralk, C3-C12 cycloalk, C4-C8 aralkalk, C7-C20 arylcycloalk, or a polymer chain; B is Si(OR2)3 or (OH)X; R2 can have the same values as R; compositions containing a (co)polymer and a derivative as above and shaped objects.

Une méthode pour fonctionnaliser des (co)polymères chlorés, dans laquelle on fait réagir ledit (co)polymère chloré à une température se situant entre 50 et 250 degrés C avec un dérivé organométallique de formule (I), où M est Sn, Pb, Sb ou Bi; A est NR3 où R3 est H ou radical -R1 B ou A est O; si M est Sn ou Pb, alors m est 4 et n est 1, 2 ou 3; si M est Sb ou Bi, alors m est 5 et n est 1, 2, 3 ou 4; R est un alkyle en C1-C8, un cycloalkyle en C3-C12, un aryle en C6-C14, un aralkyle en C7-C14, un cycloalkylalkyle en C4-C8; R1 est un alkyle en C1-C20, un aralkyle en C7-C14, un cycloalkyle en C3-C12, un aralkylalkyle en C4-C8, un arylcycloalkyle en C7-C20 ou une chaîne polymérique; B est Si(OR2)3 ou (OH)X; R2 peut avoir les mêmes valeurs que R; des compositions contenant un (co)polymère et un dérivé de la méthode décrite ci-haut et objets formés.
