ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of gravel-packing at least one zone pierced by a well bore, comprising; circulating a gravel slurry from the surface to the zone; depositing the gravel from the slurry across the at least one zone in the form of a pack and returning slurry-free fluid to the surface; reverse circulating a clean fluid from the surface to a location proximate the at least one zone and back to the surface; preventing fluid movement adjacent the wall of the well bore except at the at least one zone during the circulating, the depositing and the returning; and preventing fluid movement adjacent the wall of the well bore during the reverse cir- culating.
