Procédé d'identification d'un capteur matriciel infrarouge, caractérisé en ce que, pour au mains certains des pixels de la matrice du capteur, on relève une information relative à la position du pixel dans la matrice et on détermine une information relative à au moins une caractéristique de chacun des pixels et en ce qu'on tient en mémoire l'ensemble de ces couples d'information associés aux pixels respectifs (ou cartographie) en tant qu'identifiant du capteur.
