-11- METHOD FOR IMPROVING DYEING ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The method for improved dyeing of fibers utilizes in the dyeing process, an effective, dye-enhancing amount of a textile auxiliary having the structural formula Image wherein R' is H or a lower alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms, n is 0 or a positive integer from 1-11 and R is an alkyl group (straight or branch chain) having 1-18 carbon atoms or aryl group, e.g., phenyl. Some fibers deteriorate at the high temperature necessary to permit sufficient dye penetration. The compounds disclosed herein enhance dye penetration of fibers and allow the dyeing process to take place at lower temperatures in less time.
