Make up method for a threaded joint (1) comprising the steps of applying a torque for making up the pin in the box until first and second abutment shoulders abut, applying an extra torque until a magnitude between 50% and 90% of the steel's yield strength in the most stressed part of the joint is reached. The effect of applying this method is to increase fatigue life of the joint.
L'invention concerne un procédé de vissage d'élément tubulaire fileté (1) qui consiste à appliquer un couple de façon à visser le filetage mâle dans le filetage femelle jusqu'à ce que les premier et second épaulements de calage viennent en butée, à appliquer un couple supplémentaire jusqu'à ce qu'une amplitude comprise entre 50 % à 90 % de la limite d'élasticité de l'acier dans la partie la plus contrainte de l'élément tubulaire soit atteinte.
