A propagation relay (2), attached to an enclosure (4), receives a wireless signal (6). The signal is sent from a base station (8) over a downlink frequency. The propagation relay converts the downlink signal and transmits it (10) wirelessly, using a different frequency, to mobile station interface ports (12) located within the enclosure. The mobile station interface ports convert the signal back into one at the downlink frequency and send it (16), via a wireless link, to mobile stations (16) inside the enclosure. Communication from the mobile stations to the base station occurs in the same manner.
Un relais de propagation (2), monté dans une enceinte (4), reçoit un signal sans fil émis par une station de base (8) sur une fréquence descendante (6). Ledit relais convertit le signal descendant et le (1) transmet par liaison sans fil sur une fréquence différente aux ports (12) interfaces des stations mobiles situées dans l'enceinte, qui le ramènent à la fréquence descendante et le transmettent par liaison sans fil aux stations mobiles (16) situées dans l'enceinte. Les communications entre les stations mobiles et la station de base se font de la même manière.
