The invention concerns a system for thermal treatment of a domestic water supply pipe containing stagnant water to eliminate contaminating agents, and in particular legionnellae, comprising a pipe (1) having over its entire length at least a continuous conductive layer made of an ohmic conductor material of the electric current, a connecting element (5) made of a conductor material of the electric current connecting two portions (A, B) of said conductive layer so as to form a conductor closed loop (ABA), and a device for generating a variable magnetic flux throughout said closed loop.

Système de traitement thermique d'une canalisation d'eau sanitaire contenant de l'eau stagnante dans le but d'éliminer des agents contaminants, et en particulier des légionelles, comportant une canalisation (1) présentant sur toute sa longueur au moins une couche conductrice continue en matériau conducteur ohmique du courant électrique, un élément de liaison (5) en matériau conducteur du courant électrique reliant deux portions (A, B) de ladite couche conductrice afin de former une boucle fermée (ABA) de conducteur, et un dispositif pour engendrer un flux magnétique variable à travers ladite boucle fermée.
