A method for inductive heating of an electrically conducting workpiece by rotating the workpiece in a magnetic field of a direct-current carrying coil arrangement comprising superconductive windings, about a rotation axis that forms an angle with the principal axis of the magnetic field, makes it possible to obtain temperatures that differ from each other along the workpiece when the flux density of the magnetic field permeating the workpiece is set differently along the rotation axis.
L'invention concerne un procédé de chauffage inductif d'une pièce électriquement conductrice en faisant tourner la pièce dans le champ magnétique d'un arrangement de bobine comprenant des enroulements supraconducteurs et traversé par un courant continu autour d'un axe de rotation qui forme un angle avec l'axe principal du champ magnétique, lequel procédé permet d'obtenir une température différente le long de la pièce lorsque la densité de flux du champ magnétique auquel est exposée la pièce est réglée différemment le long de l'axe de rotation.
