A method of strikingly inhibiting the generation of mycotoxin by fungi which would exert serious influence upon the health of human body and animal; and a relevant mycotoxin generation inhibitor. The content of mycotoxin, such as deoxynivalenol (DON), in crop after harvest can be lowered without correlation to the efficacy of controlling fungi by spraying a pesticide containing as an active ingredient a benzimidazole pesticidal compound, such as thiophanate- methyl, over an edible plant, such as wheat or the like. The efficacy of the pesticide can be enhanced by the use of a sterol biosynthesis inhibitor (SBI agent), such as tebuconazole, in combination with the benzimidazole pesticidal compound.
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé permettant d'inhiber de façon frappante la génération de mycotoxine par des champignons, qui exercerait une influence grave sur la santé d'un organisme humain ou animal, ainsi qu'à un inhibiteur approprié de génération de la mycotoxine. La teneur en mycotoxine, tel que le désoxyvalénol (DON), dans une culture après la récolte peut être réduite sans corrélation avec l'efficacité du contrôle des champignons en pulvérisant un pesticide contenant en tant qu'ingrédient actif un composé pesticide à base de benzimidazole, tel que le thiphanate-méthyl, sur une plante comestible, telle que du blé ou autre. L'efficacité de ce pesticide peut être améliorée par l'utilisation d'un inhibiteur de biosynthèse de stérols (agent IBS), tel que le tébuconazole, en association avec le composé pesticide de benzimidazole.
