A method for injecting fine iron ore in a smelting reducing process is disclosed, in which the carrier gas for the iron ore is the discharge gas from a melter without the need of separate carrier gas. It includes the steps of prereducing iron ore in a prereduction furnace (12), melting and reducing it in the melter gasifier; spouting the cooled and cleaned fine iron ore through a recycling system (15) and a melting burner (16) into the melter gasifier (11). A part of the discharge gas is supplied through a venturi scrubber (17), a first compressor (18) and a tube (19) into tube (13). A part of the compressed gas circulating through tube (19) is recompressed by means of a second compressor (21) and the fine iron ore is recirculated into the tube (13) by the recompressed gas by means of a pneumatic fine iron or conveying system (22).

L'invention concerne un procédé pour injecter des particules fines de minerai de fer dans un procédé de réduction par fusion, dans lequel le gaz transportant le minerai de fer est le gaz de sortie d'un fondoir, sans adjonction d'un gaz vecteur séparé. Le procédé consiste à effectuer une préréduction du minerai métallique dans un four de préréduction (12), à le fondre et à le réduire dans le dispositif de fusion/gaséification; à faire circuler les fines particules nettoyées de minerai de fer par un système de recyclage (15) et un brûleur de fusion (16), dans le dispositif de fusion/gaséification (11). Une partie du gaz de sortie est amené dans le tube (13) par un épurateur du type tube de Venturi (17), un premier compresseur (18) et un tube (19). Une partie du gaz comprimé circulant dans le tube (19) est recomprimée par un second compresseur (21) et les particules fines de minerai de fer sont remises en circulation dans le tube (13) par le gaz recomprimé, grâce à un système de transport pneumatique (22) des fines particules de minerai de fer.
