Provided are a method and apparatus for inserting a designated, specific advertisement stream to be played, searched from advertisement streams stored in a storage of a host, so as to play the advertisement stream in an AD break when advertisement streams stored in the storage of the host are used. The method of inserting second contents stored in a storage of a host while first contents input from an external provider are played includes: searching for the second contents by using location information indicating a location of the second contents stored in the storage; detecting signaling information indicating a section in which insertion of the second contents is allowed, from the first contents; and playing the searched, second contents in the second section of the first contents that are being played, based on the signaling information. A plurality of advertisement streams are stored in the storage and a specific advertisement stream designated by an application can be selectively played. Furthermore, specific video/audio components that constitute contents for advertisement can be designated and played so that the exposure effect of advertisements that are most interesting to a user can be maximized.
La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant l'insertion d'un flux publicitaire spécifique désigné pour présentation, recherché parmi des flux publicitaires stockés dans une unité de mémoire d'un hôte, afin de présenter le flux publicitaire dans une pause publicitaire lorsque les flux publicitaires stockés dans l'unité de mémoire de l'hôte son utilisés. Le procédé d'insertion de second contenu stocké dans l'unité de mémoire d'un hôte tandis que le premier contenu entré depuis un fournisseur externe est présenté comprend : la recherche du second contenu au moyen d'une information de localisation indiquant une localisation du second contenu stocké dans l'unité de mémoire; la détection d'information de signalisation indiquant une section dans laquelle l'insertion du second contenu est permise, à partir du premier contenu; et la présentation du second contenu recherché dans la seconde section du premier contenu qui est en cours de présentation, en fonction de l'information de signalisation. Une pluralité de flux publicitaires sont stockés dans l'unité de mémoire et un flux publicitaire spécifique désigné par une application peut être présenté de manière sélective. En outre, des composantes vidéo/audio qui constituent le contenu pour la publicité peuvent être désignées et présentées de sorte que l'effet d'exposition puissent être maximisé.
