The invention relates to a method for joining at least one joint part (3), which is provided with a through opening (4), to a hollow profile. The joint part (3), with a through opening thereof, is slid onto the hollow profile as far as a joint point (3) and the hollow profile (1) is expanded, at least at the joint point (2). In order to improve the service life of the connection between the joint part (3) and the hollow profile (1), an adhesive is placed between an inner side (6) of the joint part (3) and an outer side (5) of the hollow profile prior to expansion, said adhesive adhering to the inner side (6) and outer side (5) in the region of the joint point (2).

L'invention concerne un procédé d'assemblage d'au moins une pièce d'assemblage (3), pourvue d'au moins une ouverture de passage (4), sur un profilé creux (1). La pièce d'assemblage (3) est enfichée avec son ouverture de passage (4) sur le profilé creux (1), jusqu'à atteindre une zone d'assemblage (2), le profilé creux (1) étant élargi au moins au niveau de la zone d'assemblage (2). L'invention vise à améliorer la durabilité de la connexion entre la pièce d'assemblage (3) et le profilé creux (1). A cet effet, un adhésif est placé avant élargissement entre un côté intérieur (6) de la pièce d'assemblage (3) et un côté extérieur (5) du profilé creux (1), de telle manière que ledit adhésif adhère après élargissement au niveau de la zone d'assemblage (2), au côté intérieur (6) et au côté extérieur (5).
