The present invention relates to a method for labelling a product, to a method for identifying the labelling and to a product labelled by means of the method of the invention. The labelling used in the present invention is based on single-stranded nucleic acids. The labelling method of the present invention comprises a step of addition of a plurality of single-stranded polynucleotides onto or into said product, said plurality of polynucleotides comprising: at least one target polynucleotide comprising a single-stranded polynucleotide of predetermined length and sequence, and decoy polynucleotides which have identical or different predetermined lengths and identical or different predetermined sequences, said decoy polynucleotides having a length or lengths identical to or different from and sequences different from the sequence of said, at least one, target polynucleotide, in which each of the target polynucleotide(s) and decoy polynucleotides does not hybridize with any of the other polynucleotides of said plurality of polynucleotides. The method of the invention makes it possible, for example, to label fragrances, cosmetics, hygiene products, food products, flavourings, extracts of a plant or plants, tobacco, beverages, textiles, leathers, medicaments, powders, varnishes, inks, hydrocarbons, papers, paints, and chemical products and compounds.
La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de marquage d'un produit, à un procédé d'identification du marquage et à un produit marqué par le procédé de l'invention. Le marquage utilisé dans la présente invention est à base d'acides nucléiques simples brins. Le procédé de marquage de la présente invention comprend une étape d'addition sur ou dans ledit produit d'une pluralité de polynucléotides simples brins, ladite pluralité de polynucléotides comprenant : au moins un polynucléotide cible constitué d'un polynucléotide simple brin de longueur et de séquence déterminée, et des polynucléotides leurres qui sont de longueurs déterminées identiques ou différentes et de séquences déterminées identiques ou différentes, lesdits polynucléotides leurres étant de longueur(s) identique(s) ou différente(s) et de séquences différentes de la séquence dudit, au moins un, polynucléotide cible, dans lequel chacun des polynucléotides cible(s) et leurres ne s'hybride avec aucun des autres polynucléotides de ladite pluralité de polynucléotides. Le procédé de l'invention permet par exemple de marquer les parfums, les cosmétiques, les produits pour l'hygiène, les produits alimentaires, les arômes, les extraits de plante(s), le tabac, les boissons, textiles, les cuirs, les médicaments, les poudres, les vernis, les encres, produits alimentaires, les hydrocarbures, les papiers, les peintures, les produits et composés chimiques.
