A method of extraction and analysis of high boiling and/or macromolecular substances in complex materials, particularly biological material, comprising the following sequence of steps: (a) to provide a suitable carrier, (b) possibly to modify the carrier surface; (c) to immobilize a solvent on the surface of the carrier; (d) to contact the surface modified carrier with the material, possibly in the form of a solution, containing the substance to be analyzed; (e) to concentrate and fixate the substance to be analyzed in the solvent fixed on the carrier; and (f) to bring the carrier with the concentrated substance to be analyzed into an analytical apparatus for desorption and analysis. As carriers there are preferably used fibres having a diameter of 50 to 300 µm, most preferably 100 to 200 µm, and of a length of about 2 cm.

L'invention porte sur un procédé d'extraction et d'analyse de substances à point d'ébullition élevé et/ou de type macromoléculaire présentes dans des matières complexes, en particulier de nature biologique comportant les étapes suivantes: (a) mise en place d'un support adapté; (b) modification éventuelle de la surface du support; (c) immobilisation d'un solvant à la surface du support; (d) mise en contact du susdit support modifié en surface avec la matière ou une solution contenant la matière à analyser; (e) concentration et fixation de la substance à analyser dans le solvant fixé sur le support; et (f) transfert du support ainsi que la substance concentrée à analyser dans un appareil d'analyse en vue de sa désorption et de son analyse. On utilise de préférence comme support des fibres d'un diamètre de 50 à 300 mu m et de préférence de 100 à 200 mu m, d'une longueur de 2 cm.
