The invention concerns a method for making a chlorohydrin by reacting a polyhydroxylated aliphatic hydrocarbon with a chlorinating agent in a reactor which is fed with one or more liquid flows containing at least 50 wt. % of polyhydroxylated aliphatic hydrocarbon relative to the total weight of the liquid flows.
