The invention concerns a method for making a crawler consisting of a continuous belt in the circumferential direction made of elastomeric material and comprising an inner surface and an outer surface, the inner surface being provided with a plurality of driving elements arranged uniformly in the circumferential direction. Said method comprises a step which consists in assembling an inner mould (10) formed by first and second half-moulds (11, 12), said two half-moulds axially mobile relative to each other to be urged in contact on one the other along a joint surface. The internal mould (10) comprises a radially outer setting surface (100) provided with a plurality of cavities (103) uniformly spaced for moulding the driving elements, each cavity being axially defined by two side walls (111, 112), the joint surface (13) of the two half-moulds being axially closer to a side wall than to the other side wall.
Procédé de fabrication d'une chenille formée d'une ceinture continue dans la direction circonférentielle en matériau élastomérique et comportant une surface intérieure et une surface extérieure, la surface intérieure étant pourvue d'une pluralité de plots d'entraînement régulièrement agencés dans la direction circonférentielle, le procédé comportant une étape selon laquelle on assemble d'un moule interne (10) formé par des première et second demi-formes (11, 12), lesdites deux demi-formes pouvant être déplacées l'une par rapport à l'autre dans la direction axiale pour venir en contact l'une sur l'autre selon une surface de joint. Le moule interne (10) comporte une surface de pose (100) radialement à l'extérieur pourvue d'une pluralité de cavités (103) régulièrement espacées pour le moulage des plots d'entraînement, chaque cavité étant délimitée dans la direction axiale par deux parois latérales (111, 121), la surface de joint (13) des deux demi-formes (11, 12) étant axialement plus proche d'une paroi latérale que de l'autre paroi latérale.
