The invention concerns a method for making an article (1) comprising a sheet (2) and at least an element (4) having a certain thickness, comprising the following steps: providing a sheet (2) with at least a cavity (3) emerging on one side; placing in said cavity (3) said element by pressing on said side a structure (5) comprising at least a layer bearing the element, said structure being positioned relative to the sheet (2) so that the element (4) is urged to be housed at least partly in said cavity (3).
