.The invention concerns a method for making an aqueous solution of (meth)acryloyloxyethylbenzyldimethylammonium ((M)ADAMQUAT BZ) chloride, by reacting in the presence of water, N, N-dimethylaminoethyl ((M)ADAME (meth)acrylate with benzyl chloride. The invention is characterised in that the reaction is carried out in a reactor operating continuously in accordance with well-mixed reactor technology.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une solution aqueuse de chlorure d'acryloyloxyéthylbenzyldiméthylammonium ou de méthacryloyloxyéthylbenzyl- diméthylammonium, par réaction, en présence d'eau, de l'acrylate de N,N- diméthylaminoéthyle ou du méthacrylate de N,N-diméthylaminoéthyle avec le chlorure de benzyle. Le procédé selon l'invention est caractérisé par le fait que l'on effectue la réaction en continu à pression atmosphérique dans un réacteur parfaitement agité. L'invention permet d'obtenir des solutions aqueuses des sels quaternaires chlorure d'acryloyloxyéthylbenzyldiméthyl-ammonium et chlorure de méthacryloyloxyéthylbenzyldiméthylammonium, contenant des quantités très faibles d'impuretés.
