A method of making coated chewing gum products comprises the steps of providing chewing gum cores; providing a first coating syrup comprising a bulk sweetener; providing an aldehyde flavor; providing a second coating syrup separate from the first coating syrup and comprising a dipeptide sweetener; and applying the first and second coating syrups to the cores and drying the syrups to produce a coating on the cores. Calcium carbonate or another antacid may be incorporated in the coating by being mixed into the first coating syrup or applied as a dry charge.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de chewing-gums qui consiste à préparer des noyaux de chewing-gum ; à préparer un premier sirop d'enrobage comprenant un adoucissant en vrac ; à préparer une saveur à base d'aldéhyde ; à préparer un second sirop d'enrobage séparé du premier sirop d'enrobage et comprenant un dipeptide adoucissant ; et à appliquer le premier et le second sirops d'enrobage sur les noyaux, puis à faire sécher les sirops afin de former un revêtement sur les noyaux. Du carbonate de calcium ou un autre antiacide peut être intégré dans le revêtement en étant mélangé au premier sirop d'enrobage ou appliqué en tant que charge sèche.
