The invention concerns a method for making coated particles of .gamma.-aminobutyric acid analogue whereof the lactam content by weight relative to the weight of .gamma.-aminobutyric acid analogue is less than 0.5 %. The invention is characterised in that it consists in spraying a coating solution comprising at least a polymer in an organic solvent on said .gamma.-aminobutyric acid analogue particles.
