A first aspect of the subject matter of the invention relates to a method for making comb polymers with a meth(acrylic) backbone and polyoxyalkylated side groups, obtained by drying a solution containing at least one homopolymer of (meth)acrylic acid and/or at least one copolymer of (meth)acrylic acid with at least one other monomer, followed by functionalization of the resulting dry intermediates by esterification with at least one alkoxy polyoxyalkylene glycol and/or amidification with at least one aminated alkoxy polyoxyalkylene, or ethoxylation with at least one alkylene oxide. The dry intermediates, the final comb polymers (either in dry state or when they are placed in an aqueous solution) are also part of the subject matter of the invention. Finally, formulations which contain inorganic or organic materials and use the above-mentioned polymers represent the final aspect of the subject matter of the invention.
Un premier objet de l'invention consiste en un procédé de fabrication de polymères peignes disposant d'une chaîne principale (méth)acrylique et de groupements latéraux polyoxyalkylés, obtenus par séchage d'une solution contenant au moins un homopolymère de l'acide (méth)acrylique et / ou au moins un copolymère de l'acide (méth)acrylique avec au moins un autre monomère, puis fonctionnalisation dudit produit sec intermédiaire par estérification avec au moins un alcoxy polyoxyalkylène glycol, et / ou amidification avec au moins un alcoxy polyoxyalkylène aminé, ou éthoxylation avec au moins un oxyde d'alkylène. Les produits secs intermédiaires, les polymères peignes finaux (à l'état sec ou lorsqu'ils sont mis en solution aqueuse) constituent aussi des objets de l'invention. Enfin, des formulations contenant des matières minérales ou organiques et mettant en oeuvre les polymères précités, constituent un dernier objet de l'invention.
