The present invention is generally directed to facial tissues having great softness and strength. The facial tissues are made from a multi-layered paper web containing a middle layer of eucalyptus fibers either alone or in combination with polyester fibers. The paper web is made with a debonding agent for producing a web having reduced levels of fiber bonding. Once formed, the paper web is treated on each side with a bonding agent in a preselected pattern. Both sides of the paper web are also creped. In order to create a smooth low friction surface, the paper web is fed through a calendering machine and treated with a friction reducing composition and subsequently dried.
La présente invention porte de façon générale sur des serviettes faciales ayant un haut degré de douceur et de résistance. Les serviettes faciales sont faites à partir d'une bande de papier multicouche contenant une couche intermédiaire de fibres d'eucalyptus, soit seules, soit combinées à des fibres de polyester. On incorpore au papier un agent anti-liaison pour obtenir une bande de papier ayant des niveaux réduits de liaison des fibres. Une fois formée, la bande de papier est traité de chaque côté avec un agent de liaison suivant un modèle présélectionné. Les deux côtés de la bande de papier sont aussi crêpés . Dans le but d'obtenir une surface douce à faible degré de frottement, on fait passer la bande de papier dans une machine de calandrage et on la traite avec une composition réduisant le frottement, puis on la fait sécher.
