The invention relates to a novel method for managing the entry of a new reel (11') in a continuous in-line installation for processing a strip-shaped product, in particular, for passing though the line of short reels. According to the invention, the overall time for carrying out the general method of connecting a new reel (11') is divided into at least two periods (T¿1?, T¿3?) realized in at least two successive portions (3, 4) of the entry section (1) of the installation, and the connection cycle is split into two separate phases (S¿1?, S¿2?) between which a variable length of strip is kept in at least one intermediate accumulator (5) in order to provide a time interval (T¿2?) of a variable duration between these periods of the connecting method. The invention is used, in particular, in continuous steel strip pickling lines.
L'invention a pour objet un nouveau procédé de gestion de l'entrée d'une nouvelle bobine (11~) dans une installation de traitement en ligne continue d'un produit en bande, en particulier pour le passage dans la ligne de bobines courtes. Selon l'invention, le temps global de réalisation du processus général de raccordement d'une nouvelle bobine (11') est divisé en au moins deux périodes (T1, T3) réalisées dans au moins deux parties successives (3, 4) de la section d'entrée (1) de l'installation et le cycle de jonction est fractionné en deux phases séparées (S1, S2) entre lesquelles une longueur variable de bande est mise en réserve dans au moins un accumulateur intermédiaire (5) afin de ménager un intervalle de temps (T2) de durée variable entre lesdites périodes du processus de raccordement. L'invention s'applique spécialement aux lignes continues de décapage de bandes d'acier.
