The invention concerns the management aboard an aircraft of the aeronautical digital ACARS and ATN telecommunication networks. It concerns a method for automatically selecting the subnetwork transmitting the ACARS or ATN networks most suited for exchanging digital messages with ground with regard to the aircraft equipment possibilities, those existing on the ground in the zone flown over, costs and dependability of possible links and the preferences of the pilot, of his company and of the control services. Said method essentially consists in: generating and updating the database containing data concerning: costs, performances, security/dependability, aircraft configuration, availability of communication subnetworks and the instructions of the pilot, of his company and of the control services; and in automatically selecting a communication mode by subnetwork of the ACARS and ATN networks taking into account the order of preference established from criteria based on the data contained in the database (342).
La présente invention concerne la gestion, à bord d'un aéronef, des réseaux aéronautiques de télécommunications numériques ACARS et ATN. Elle porte sur un procédé de choix automatique du sous-réseau de transmission des réseaux ACARS ou ATN le plus approprié pour l'échange de messages numériques avec le sol compte tenu des possibilités des équipements de l'aéronef, de ceux existant au sol dans la zone survolée, des coûts et des fiabilités des liaisons possibles, et des préférences du pilote, de sa compagnie et des services de contrôle. Ce procédé consiste principalement, dans la création et la mise à jour d'une base de données contenant des informations: coûts, performances, sécurité/fiabilité, configuration avion, disponibilités des sous-réseaux de communication ainsi que les consignes du pilote, de sa compagnie et des services de contrôle, et dans la sélection automatique d'un mode de communication par sous-réseau des réseaux ACARS ou ATN en tenant compte d'un ordre de préférence établi à partir de critères basés sur les informations contenues dans la base de données (342).
