The method comprises providing to the patient an interactive therapy managing system for de-selecting himself from the treatment regimen. The interactive therapy managing system may comprise, for example, an in person contact, or an electronically enabled element, such as an automated voice response system, a text-messaging system, an email system, a touch- tone telephone menu system, and a website.
