A method for manufacturing a ball-type valve includes steps of preparing a tubular member between two molds, pressing the tubular member between and by the two molds to form a substantially spherical member with two apertures defined diametrically through a peripheral wall of the spherical member, and inserting a tube through the two apertures and respectively welding two ends of the tube to two peripheries defining the apertures.
