The present invention concerns a method for manufacturing a lidded case (1) from a thin tree trunk or branch, in which a piece corresponding to the height of the lidded case (1) is sawn from the tree trunk or branch. The method is characterized in that the lid part (4) is cut off from said piece by means of a thin, rotating and disc-like cutting blade (5), having a completely smooth circumferential surface but the outer edges of its sides being provided with mainly radial grooves (6) extending to the circumferential surface, while water (7) is led to a cutting point (14) during the whole cutting stage.
Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé permettant de fabriquer une boîte avec couvercle (1) à partir d'un mince tronc d'arbre ou d'une branche, la partie correspondant à la hauteur de la boîte avec couvercle (1) étant sciée dans le tronc d'arbre ou la branche. Ce procédé se caractérise en ce que la partie couvercle (4) est découpée de ladite pièce au moyen d'une mince lame de coupe rotative en forme de disque (5), ayant une surface circonférentielle complètement lisse mais dont les bords extérieurs des côtés sont pourvus de rainures essentiellement radiales (6) s'étendant jusqu'à la surface circonférentielle, pendant que de l'eau (7) est amenée au point de découpage (14) pendant toute l'opération de découpage.
