The invention relates to a method for producing a milling disc with embedded insets of hard metal, ceramics or similar hard materials. The milling disc is provided with a centrical bore in the base body of the disc. The tips of the insets protrude over the circumference of the disc body. The invention also relates to a milling disc produced according to the inventive method. The novel method is characterised in that powdery sintered metal material is filled into the recess of a mould pertaining to a compression moulding die, whereby said mould matches the outer contour of the disc base body. Pre- fabricated insets are inserted into the sintered metal material and are positioned in the mould of the compression moulding die. A green compact is subsequently pressed in the compression moulding die and then taken out of the compression moulding die. Said green compact is sintered with the pressed insets and is subjected to hardening and/or surface treatment if required. According to the inventive milling disc, the resistance of the insets in the disc base body and the properties of the disc base body have been essentially improved.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour produire un disque de fraise dans lequel sont incorporés des inserts en métal dur, céramique ou autres matériaux durs, ce disque présentant, dans son corps de base, un orifice central. Les inserts font saillie par leurs extrémités à la périphérie du corps de base. L'invention concerne également un disque de fraise ainsi obtenu. Ce nouveau procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'un matériau fritté métallique pulvérulent est introduit dans l'empreinte d'une matrice de presse, dont les contours correspondent au contour extérieur du corps de base. Des inserts préfabriqués sont placés dans le matériau fritté métallique et positionnés dans la matrice de la presse. Ce procédé est en outre caractérisé en ce que, après introduction du matériau fritté métallique et positionnement des inserts dans la presse, une ébauche est moulée, puis retirée de la presse pour être frittée avec les inserts, et le cas échéant, soumise à un durcissement et/ou à un traitement superficiel. Ce procédé permet d'améliorer considérablement la stabilité des inserts dans le corps de base et les propriétés de ce dernier.
