The invention relates to a method for manufacturing an optical article with anti-glare properties, including: a) the formation on at least one main surface of a medium, by the application of a base of at least one colloidal mineral oxide with a refractive index no lower than 1.80 having initial porosity; b) optionally, the formation on the first bottom layer, by the application of a base of at least one colloidal mineral oxide with a refractive index lower than 1.65, of a second bottom layer with initial porosity at least equal to the initial porosity of said first layer; c) application to the bottom layer or layers of a top layer composition of an optically transparent polymer material with a refractive index no greater than 1.50; d) filling in the porosity of the bottom layer or layers by penetration in the bottom layer or layers of at least part of the material of the top layer composition formed in step (c) and forming a hardened top layer with a thickness determined such that the top layer and the bottom layer or layers, after filling in the initial porosity thereof, constitute a bilayer anti-glare coating, in the domain from 400 to 700 nm, preferably from 450 to 650 nm.
Procédé de fabrication d'un article d'optique à propriétés antireflets, comprenant : a) la formation sur au moins une surface principale d'un support, par application d'un sol d'au moins un oxyde minéral colloïdal d'indice de réfraction supérieur ou égal à 1,80 ayant une porosité initiale; b) optionnellement, la formation sur la première couche inférieure par application d'un sol d'au moins un oxyde minéral colloïdal d'indice de réfraction inférieur à 1,65 d'une seconde couche inférieure de porosité initiale au moins égale à la porosité initiale de ladite première couche; c) l'application sur la ou les couches inférieures d'une composition de couche supérieure d'un matériau polymérique optiquement transparent dont l'indice de réfraction, est inférieur ou égal à 1,50; d) le comblement de la porosité de la ou des couches inférieures par pénétration dans la ou les couches inférieures d'au moins une partie du matériau de la composition de couche supérieure formée à l'étape (c) et la formation d'une couche supérieure durcie dont l'épaisseur est déterminée de sorte que la couche supérieure et la ou les couches inférieures, après comblement de la ou leur porosité initiale, constituent un antireflet bicouche, dans le domaine allant de 400 à 700 nm, de préférence de 450 à 650 nm.
