A method for manufacturing a board product made up of at least two layers, and a multilayer board product. According to the method, the board webs (4, 5, 6) forming the layers are bonded together by gluing. According to the invention, at least one of the webs is treated mechanically by compression so that in the web surface there form permanent deformations projecting from the web surface, and the layers are glued together by using a starch-based adhesive, which is applied at a solids content over 45 % to the layers to be bonded. The adhesive having a high solids content dries and bonds rapidly to the surfaces to be joined, even without additional heating. Since the adhesive contains little or no water, no after-bending or flattening of the middle layer occurs in the bond.

Cette invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une planche faite d'au moins deux couches, et un produit en planche constitué de couches multiples. Selon ce procédé, les éléments de planche (4, 5, 6) formant les couches sont fixés les uns aux autres par collage. Un au moins des éléments est traité mécaniquement par compression de sorte que des déformations en relief se forment de façon permanente dans sa surface. Pour le collage des couches les unes au autres, on utilise un adhésif à base d'amidon qui est appliqué à l'état solide à raison de plus de 45 % sur les couches à réunir. Cet adhésif à forte teneur en solides sèche et prend rapidement sur le surfaces à joindre, même sans chauffage supplémentaire. Comme la colle ne renferme que peu d'eau, voire aucune, il n'y a pas de cintrage ou d'aplatissement après coup de la couche centrale dans la liaison.
