Abstract of the Disclosure Method for manufacturing electric switching block of electromagnetic relay wherein rocking armature end or ends of an electromagnetic block drives respective movable contactor spring plates between opposing fixed contact terminals in respective switching sections of the switching block, all terminals including movable contact terminal of which are arrayed along respective side edges of an insulative base as embedded therethrough. In the method, the terminals of the respective sections are first prepared as extended at desired intervals from each of a pair of parallelly spaced metal strips, one of the pair of fixed contact terminals being extended in zigzag shape as inclined away from the other terminal, the inclined terminals are then bent alternately twice at intermediate portion to have its fixed contact holding part to oppose the other terminal separated parallelly from the strip's plane by a predetermined space between the fixed contacts and are erected with respect to the strip's lengthwise direction to have the fixed contact holding part opposed to the other terminal, the base is molded to integrally hold the respective terminals of desired number of the sections, and the terminals are separated from the strips.
