A method of manufacturing a floating collar engaged on a fuel nozzle for providing a sealing interface between the fuel nozzle and a combustor wall. The method comprises metal injection moulding a radially extending flange portion, an axially extending cylindrical portion and a sacrificial or feed inlet portion. The flange and cylindrical portions form the floating collar which is free of injection marks and is separated from the sacrificial/feed inlet portion after injection moulding.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un collier flottant engagé sur un injecteur de carburant pour fournir une interface d'étanchéité entre l'injecteur de carburant et une paroi de chambre de combustion. Le procédé comporte le moulage par injection de métal d'une partie de bride s'étendant radialement, d'une partie cylindrique s'étendant axialement et d'une partie d'entrée d'alimentation ou sacrificielle. La partie de bride et la partie cylindrique forment le collier flottant qui est exempt de marques d'injection et qui est séparé de la partie d'entrée sacrificielle/d'alimentation après moulage par injection.
